Onward to Canberra

After spending 2 days with friends in beautiful Sale, which by the way is the flattest town we have ever been in (i doubt they even have any speed bumps), we checked out Snowy River country, then stayed a night in Eden, in a cabin right on the beach, then visited the Bega Cheese factory - mmm cheese :)

We drove through the snowy mountains, there was no snow but it was freezing, we spent 2 minutes at the lookout then literally ran back to the car it was so cold. We are now in Canberra which is not much warmer....more to come in a few days time.

And we're away! Hobart-Canberra

Well, we had a lovely smooth crossing over Bass Strait, so much so we got in at just after 6am to Melbourne, but what a beautiful morning it was.

We have had a great 1st 10 days of our holiday. Staying with Alex's Great Great Aunty & Uncle in Melbourne, making friends with Cheeky the Cockatiel and spending time with grandparents and cousins.
